Nature in Glenwood

Glenwood's 47 acres along the south bank of the Flint River are a truly unique environment. The rolling hills and natural ravines are home to a great variety of birds, as well as deer, fox and other wildlife. This is a hidden gem for birders. Here you will find a pleasant woodland with 57 tree species, each of which is identified as part of Glenwood's arboretum. The cemetery also connects to the Flint River and Genesee Valley non-motorized trails making this an ideal location to explore the area's natural beauty and ecological diversity in all four seasons.
