ARTHUR G. BISHOP

b. Flint, Michigan, April 12, 1851. Attended public schools and graduated from the University of Michigan in 1873. He was a teller and collector for Genesee County Savings Bank, and was promoted to vice-president, and served as president (1912-1916). He was on the Board of Directors for General Motors and Chevrolet, and served as director/treasurer of Monroe Motor Co. and Copeman Electric Stove Co. In 1928, he donated the land for Bishop Airport. d. Flint, MI, Jan. 25, 1944.
